Today, the ceremonial opening of our new production plant took place in the business park Čaporice.
The opening was attended not only by the members of the Board and employees, but also by Ante Sanader, the Prefect of Split-Dalmatia County, and Ivan Šipić, the Mayor of Trilj, as well as by numerous other guests.
On this occasion, the Prefect addressed those present and said that Croatia wishes for more such occasions and that the Tromont company is the pride of the county. He congratulated the management and employees and wished them a success in all projects. He emphasized that the towns and municipalities can continue to count on the full support of the county in the realization of industrial zones.
In his welcoming speech, the Mayor of Trilj, Ivan Šipić, spoke retrospectively about the beginnings of the business park in Trilj: "A few years ago, the area of the Čaporice zone was inaccessible and characterized by the karstic landscape. Today it is a zone with a fully completed municipal infrastructure, co-financed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Split-Dalmatia County and the town of Trilj with a sum of 27 million kunas. Today, when we have an event like this, we can say with certainty that the investments have paid off and were worthwhile."
President Dr. Ivo Josipović said, among other things:
"I am here today representing the citizens on whose behalf I would like to thank all those who have contributed to the creation of new jobs, who provided for the inflow of taxes based on your work, and have made better existence for numerous families possible. I congratulate you on this. We must continue to care and work in this direction, namely to enable the creation of new jobs."
